Spiritually Tired

This road has not been easy, oh how I wish sometimes life was as simple as ABC, at times I do not know what to do. It seems like the progress I had made now is broken in pieces. At times I wonder if am beyond redemption. I want to have an intimate relationship with God, but its difficult. I cannot even find time to read the bible. I am spiritually tired, even when I do find time to read the bible I get bored easily. this walk with Christ is anything but easy. I know it will be worth it at the end of the day. find strength to carry on and not go back is a task. God help me please how do I get through this point in my life where everything is just black and white.

Friends I will give a update next week on how feel and the challenging am facing.

Love in Christ Jesus

Ashes to Restoration

Have you ever heard people describe someone like " that person won't change, people have tried to help him or her but they have failed so don't waste your time trying to help them its useless',yep we all heard or said those words before. God says its not over, people have failed but God will not fail. I created this blog to share with you all my joys and challenges on the road to redemption. I have been in church for the past seven years, served, helped people and gave testimonies of what God has done in my life and all that.

Truly speaking I do not know God, I know about God and what he has done in my life, but I don't have a relationship with him. He is just my provider not a friend or father or redeemer.I went to counselling a lot of times trying to get help, but nothing changed because I was trying to get help from man not God. I spend the last three years not going to church because I did not see a reason to. going to church every Sunday hearing the scripture and hearing how God can change my life and yet nothing had changed in my life. The feelings of fear and hatred were still there, emotionally I was a mess. I was that person pastors and fellow church members felt sorry for, I tried to change but I couldn't. I was lost spiritually and did not know where I belonged. Finally after seven years as a "christian" I realized that I never gave God the chance to change me. I was always trying to be good and pretend that everything was fine and allowed people to tell me what Christianity was about instead of allowing God to do that. This blog is a journal of my intimate walk with God. As I look up to Him and allow Him to raise me from the ashes to restoration.
